Let me start by saying MAY GOD BLESS YOU DURING THIS TIME OF LOSS! I spoke with my mother earlier today and she made me aware of this article being in the paper earlier this week and asked if I knew of this incident, because I'm originally from Orlando. As a current member of the Kadena Family, it was very sad to hear about the passing of MSgt Richardson, especially since I was scheduled to attend a motorcycle course the week after his accident. PLEASE KNOW his passing WAS NOT in vain and can honestly be viewed as a life saving experience for others, including myself. I'm a true believer in everything happening for a reason, and I will be FOREVER GRATEFUL and MAY GOD CONTINUE TO BLESS YOU!

Maria and family
I am so sorry for your loss. I got to know Rich quite a bit over the last few months in the shop office. I not only consider him my boss, but my friend first. We went out a few times and had a good time. He also taught me alot about leadership and what he called the"GAME". Rich I will miss you alot. You left the shop in my hands and I'm going to continue to take in down the path you were headed with it. Rest in peace. Again Maria I'm so sorry for the loss. If you need anything let me know.
Friends forever,
Russ and Asmae

To the Richardson family,
I didn't know your son/husband, but I heard a news story on WIRK, 107.9 about him. Such sad, sad news.... God bless and keep you in this very trying time of your life. Like so many others, he was doing this for his country - for us! You are in my thoughts and prayers. Rest in peace Shawn, you have earned your wings and more...
