Lillian, my friend, my Grandma.

I have been blessed to have shared great Joy with my grandma Lillian.
She brought great sunshine, laughter, compassion, the love of Christ and
Great friendship, but most of all she adopted me as her grand-daughter.

I had become very close friends with Lillian. We had great conversations with a wonderful cup of tea full of love with her. I will always treasure the times we sat on her porch, watched the birds and filled the hummingbird feeders and sat and waited patiently for the hummers to come. The greatest gift that we shared was the love of her wanting a granddaughter, and I, a grandma. If I could have picked anyone to be my grandma it was Lillian. She always had a great smile for me, even when things were tough.
We shared the love of nature, flowers, lunch, diners, Christ and we could not miss the phone calls to talk about if I saw the great shot that Tiger Woods had just made playing golf. She loved Tiger Woods!

Sunday mornings she would ask me are you going to play your violin in Church today?
I would laugh, it is a guitar grandma! She will always be with me and the times we shared were a gift from God. She will be missed. A wise lady, a great lady, I am proud to have been known as her adopted granddaughter and I am blessed to have had her as my grandma.
