I once was a part of the Shannon Family. My Mom and Dad were very close friends with Bill's Mom and Dad.
I can remember going there and sitting next to the fireplace and eating ice cream in my earlier days. Bill was not a stuck up person and I had not seen him in years but he still remembered me at J&J's. He also spoke and asked how Mom and Dad were, (but Dad has now passed.) Bill you will now be with your Mom and Dad again, and your "great " smile will be remembered. I am sure you are watching down on all of us making sure we are okay. God Bless, and we will meet again someday.

I remember being a little girl and going to the Shannon household with my father Michael. Although I have grown up quite a bit seince I was a 6 year old... I hadent forgotten who Bill was. The nice old gentelman smiling at me in the local Hannaford, was the same nice young man that used to let me join my father in coming to his house and playing with his wifes porcellan dolls. He may not have known in my 20th year of life, that I was that same little girl. The last time I saw Bill, was once again at the local Hannaford, and the smile he flashed me, So big and warm will stay with me forever... I just thought I'd say Thank you Mr. Bill, for being such a nice man to me my whole entire life, and I will miss you lots. I hope you'll look down on me and give me guidance whenever it is I need it, and thank you for being such a great friend to everyone. You will be greatly missed.
