Patricia Stone Obituary

HUDSON FALLS Patricia Stone, 54, of Hudson Falls, went into the arms of the Lord on Tuesday, April 22, 2008, surrounded by her loving family. Born on March 17, 1954, in Bennington, Vt., she was the daughter of Rita Boisclair and the late Noel Boisclair, originally from Canada. Patty loved her dog, Ringo. She enjoyed her grandchildren very much. Her favorite activity was playing bingo. She liked to spend late summer nights sitting in the park, going on bus trips to the casino with her friends and going to Bruce's Campground to hang out with Bill and Dawn Jordan and many others who joined them there for good fun. We will love and miss her dearly, only soon to meet her again. She was predeceased by her father, a granddaughter, Emmakate and her friend, Mary Benoit. Survivors include her husband of 27 years, John Stone; her mother, Rita Boisclair of Salem; her three children: Larry Johnson Jr. and his wife, Sheila, and their children, Harley and Maxx Smith of Fort Edward, Mandy LaCross and her husband, Sonny and their two boys, Michael and John Wood of Hudson Falls, Elaine Brooks and her husband, Robert, and their daughter, Natalie "Nataboo" of Hudson Falls; her four stepchildren, Johnathan Stone and his wife, Rose, and son, Johnathan of Glens Falls, June Morse and her husband, Donald, and two daughters, Destiny and Corrina of West Glens Falls, Roy Stone and his two children, Roy Stone III and Kayla Stone, and Christopher Stone; her three brothers: Ronald Boisclair and his wife, Diane, of Fort Edward, Lionel Boisclair and his wife, Marie, of Salem and Joe Boisclair and his wife, June, of Salem; her several nieces and nephews; her special friends, Lori and Randy Smith of Queensbury and Richard and Shirley Whiting of Glens Falls, Aurele and Edna Sequin of Canada and Marge and Les Wood and family of Hudson Falls. Friends may call today, April 24, from 6 to 8 p.m. at the Carleton Funeral Home, Inc., 68 Main St. in Hudson Falls. A funeral service will be held at 11 a.m. on Friday at the funeral home with the Rev. Joseph Dworak, pastor of the Church of St. Mary's/St. Paul's on the park in Hudson Falls. The Rite of Committal will follow in St. Mary's Cemetery in the town of Fort Edward. Online condolences may be made by visiting the funeral home Web site, www.carleton funeralhome.com. Patricia (Pat) was a great friend to my mother for several years before meeting my uncle John. Pat was a very giving person of herself and was more than willing to offer what ever she had to others who had less. I find that over the past say 26 years that i have known Pat that she has done her best to make the world a better place. And here is a good example of how. She brought into this world three very wonderful children that are also as caring and as giving as their mom is. And then she also made my uncle the happiest man on earth. Pat you will be missed dearly and you will always remain in our hearts.
