Patricia Keys Obituary

Salem, N.Y. Patricia Anne "Patsy" Keys, 70, of Salem, passed away Friday afternoon, June 20, 2008, at Glens Falls Hospital with her family by her side. Patsy was born Oct. 11, 1937 in Adamsville, N.Y., the daughter of the late George and Isabelle Stewart Breason. She graduated from Argyle High School. Patsy was married on Aug. 27, 1960, to Charles A. Keys with whom she owned and operated a dairy farm for many years. Patsy loved her family, especially her grandchildren. Patsy is survived by her husband of 47 years, Charles A. Keys; her son, Leonard C. Keys and his wife, Cindy, of Salem; her brothers and sisters, Gladys McCarty and her husband, Joe, of Fort Edward, Stanley Breason and his wife, Pat, of Hudson Falls, John Breason and his wife, Marilyn, of Cambridge, Isabelle "Tootie" Wade of Argyle and William "Bill" Breason and his wife, Myra, of Dothan, Ala. She is also survived by her four grandchildren, Alexander Keys, Christopher Garney, Jordan Keys and Samantha Keys as well as many nieces and nephews, which include two special nephews, Jim Bain and his wife, Sheila, of Salem and Mark Woodell and his wife, Eva, of Salem. In addition to her parents, Patsy was also predeceased by her brothers, Floyd Breason, Donald Breason and George Breason Jr. and two nephews, Walter and James Breason. Funeral services will be held at 1 p.m. Monday, June 23, 2008, at the Salem United Methodist Church, 29 West Broadway, Salem, with the Rev. Debbie Earthrowl officiating. Interment will follow the service at Evergreen Cemetery in Salem. Relatives and friends are invited to attend and may call today from 4 to 7 p.m. at the McClellan Funeral Home, 19 East Broadway, Salem. Memorial contributions in memory of Patsy may be made to the Salem United Methodist Church, P.O. Box 412, Salem, NY 12865, or the Salem Rescue Squad, P.O. Box 360, Salem, NY 12865. Patsy was a wonderful person, she will be missed by all who came in contact with her. She always had a beautiful smile no matter what was going on. She was a beautiful person inside and out.We sure will miss ya "PATSY"
