I reconnected with Chip at our 35th reunion and was just last night looking at a wonderful picture of a group of us having fun.
His spiritual love gave me great strength during the passing of my mother and father and a very challenging return to Holyoke.
A very special walk at the Oxbow in the foliage made me reconnect with the good and release the bad.
The rebel neighbor became a spiritual savior and I now cherish the picture of the rogue turned spiritual leader - I had so looked forward to telling him what an impact he had on my life - but he knows that.
Love to his earthly family and joy for his landings!

Our thoughts and prayers are with the Barsalou family whom we have known for many years! We are so sorry to hear of Chip's passing, he was a great guy and much too young to leave us. The Barrett sisters Debbie, Nancy & Linda all have fond memories of Chip.

What can I say? Chip is no longer physically here with us, and I miss him already. His wise counsel and energetic efforts and the sense of what is right will remain with me as long as I have breath.

Although I've rarely seen him over the last 30 years, I've known Chip and his family since the 1950's. His dad was my dentist, and as I recall, my dad was the family's milkman.
I'm very sorry to have heard of his passing and wish to express my sincerest sympathies to his family.

To all the Barsalous and their families,
I was sorry to learn of Chip's passing. I always think of Chip being one of the really good "Holyoke" guys. We shared many stories; some funny, some not so funny, but Chip always spoke the truth. The first part of his journey has ended. May the next one be one filled with peace and fun.
Rest easy,brother.

My family has know "Chippy" since his days at Mt. Tom when my dad, Ted Hamel, was his boss. Chip will be missed by many people past and present. I'm sure my dad was one of the many that greeted him at heaven's door. Please accept our deepest sympathies for your loss and know our thoughts and prayers are with you all at this time.
