Dear Lillian and family,

We are saddened to hear of your loss. Russell was certainly one of the most memorable people at Kingsbury.

Having just lost my mother July 3, I can empathize with your feelings of loss, numbness and grief.

May God keep you in peace until the very soon reunion when Christ comes.

Though I have been away from the Glens Falls area for many years, I treasure many special memories of visits and friendships with the Taylor family. Probably what I remember most about Russell was his dedication to God, his family, and his church. He was a friend to my parents, grandparents, and other family members as well. I send love to his family, and look forward to the day when we are all together again in heaven.

Our prayers are with you during this time. I have happy childhood memories of visiting your home. It was always fun to be there. I remember the family worship and the oatmeal cake and Christmas caroling with Mr. Taylor driving. It is sad now but there is a future. We can look forward to a heavenly reunion some day.

When we recall our years as members of the old Granville church, memories of Russell are a big part of that time. He was ever a fine Christian gentleman. His kindness was an example to us all.
You will miss his presence greatly, but the promise is sure: we will see him again.
