Dear Lillian and family,
We are saddened to hear of your loss. Russell was certainly one of the most memorable people at Kingsbury.
Having just lost my mother July 3, I can empathize with your feelings of loss, numbness and grief.
May God keep you in peace until the very soon reunion when Christ comes.

To Lillian and all the Taylor Family:
My prayers for your comfort are ascending heavenward. I am sorry for your loss. Russ was a warm and loving person to each of us; leaving us with many warm memories. I know this leaves a hole in your hearts but soon Jesus will come and we'll see him again.

Though I have been away from the Glens Falls area for many years, I treasure many special memories of visits and friendships with the Taylor family. Probably what I remember most about Russell was his dedication to God, his family, and his church. He was a friend to my parents, grandparents, and other family members as well. I send love to his family, and look forward to the day when we are all together again in heaven.

I am a brother to Howard Hurd, and I have spoken to him tonight. He sends his regards to the family. I did not know Br.Tayler, but my brother talked of the hope of the resurrection of the righteous. We can look forward to that glad day.

Our prayers are with you during this time. I have happy childhood memories of visiting your home. It was always fun to be there. I remember the family worship and the oatmeal cake and Christmas caroling with Mr. Taylor driving. It is sad now but there is a future. We can look forward to a heavenly reunion some day.

I have always thought of Lillian and Russel as adopted grandparents. I remember him teaching Sabbath School to us at the Granville Church. He was a true man of God, He lived what he believed. I will miss him greatly. My thoughts are with you Lillian and with your family.

When we recall our years as members of the old Granville church, memories of Russell are a big part of that time. He was ever a fine Christian gentleman. His kindness was an example to us all.
You will miss his presence greatly, but the promise is sure: we will see him again.

I worked with Russ for many years at Carswells and I do not believe there was a nicer, more thoughtful person than Russ. He was just a great person. My thoughts are with you.
