Clarence Lauder Obituary

GREENWICH Clarence B. "Pat" Lauder, 89, passed away Monday, July 21, 2008, at his North Greenwich Road home. Born May 7, 1919, in Greenwich, he was the son of the late Thomas and Vera Booth Lauder. Pat had been a dairy farmer in Greenwich for many years and was a former member of the Farm Bureau. He was a member of Centenary United Methodist Church in Greenwich. He was a person who was always watching out for others, enjoyed his garden and yard. In addition to his parents, he was predeceased by his wife, Janet Webb Lauder who died in 2004. Survivors include his son, Jeff Lauder and his wife, Janet L., of Greenwich; his daughter, Joanne Wallace and her husband, Dan, of Hague; two grandchildren, Phyllis Lauder of Greenwich and Phillip Lauder and his friend, Bonnie Underwood, of Argyle; six great- grandchildren, Sarah Lauder and Emily Gille of Greenwich, Tiarra Lynn Couture, Jordan Brayman, Carter Underwood and Austin Brayman of Argyle and several nieces and nephews. A funeral service will be held at 1 p.m. Friday, July 25, 2008, at Flynn Bros. Inc. Funeral Home, 80 Main St., Greenwich with the Rev. Eileen Deming, officiating. Friends may call on Thursday at the funeral home from 6 to 8 p.m. Interment will be in the Greenwich Cemetery at the convenience of the family. Memorials can be made to Hospice of Washington County, 415 Lower Main St., Hudson Falls, NY 12839. The family would like to thank Hospice of Washington County and a special thanks to Michelle.
