Things I will always remember about my Grandpa Great:

Walking in Cole’s Woods
Barbecues
The only person to let me color his finger “tails”
Funny faces
BIG hugs and kisses
Dancing to the clock chime
Jumping on his bed…with him in it!
Singing Grandpa Great to sleep
Watching Dora together
Sharing a bowl of strawberries
Our mutual love for chocolate

Within our hearts the ones we love are never really gone. They live on in beautiful memories.

Karen, Joan and the rest of the Ide family. I'm sorry for the loss of your dad. I didn't personally know him, but since I worked with Karen and went to school with Joan, I remember your family. I lost my dad in May of this year and know what you are going through. My thoughts and prayers are with you.
