To the Cuttler Family:
We were so sorry to hear of Scott's passing. Just suffering through our own family loss, we were unable to get to the services. Scott was a great friend to Mike in grammar school and one of the "New Road Gang". He always kept all of us smiling. At the time I thought the summers would never end there on that dirt road, but we really did have a lot of fun and a lot of great memories. "Card" parties, basketball, hide and seek...a lot of great memories. He will be missed. Please know how sorry we are. Cherish the memories. Take care.

Dear Barrie and Sherry and family,
I was shocked, and am so sorry to hear of the loss of your son, Scott. I did not know you all well, but my impression, which is confirmed by so many entries in this guest book, is that you are a loving, close family, and Scott was loved by many. I remember when he told me at your garage sale that I was getting a great house, and then he told me some stories of the fun times he had growing up there and why he loved it so much. I lost my dad this year after only being close to him for a few years.... thanks to that great house! It has been so hard for me. I can only imagine your pain of losing a child, brother, husband, father, so young. I will pray for all of you that you will find peace knowing that he is no longer suffering and is in a better place. Please feel free to stop by if it helps.

Dear Kim and family:

I was Scott's classmate throughout much of high school. I was deeply saddened to learn of his illness and passing. My thoughts are with you. I felt as if I had to write something here because he always taught those around him how to see things positively. Despite how long it has been since we graduated, I still have memories of what a great guy he was.

Sincerely

Wendy Zenzen

Scott:

I will always cherish our times at Canada Lake; Late night camp fires; Crackboard; "Our House"; Obi One Kenobi; Fishing (not catching) we must get up earlier; Cleaning the boats, and cleaning the boats again; Card games; And did I say late night camp fires; Polish Horse Shoes; And of course, a lot of laughs.

Scott I will miss you, but these memories will always be with me.

Scott -

I always appreciated the steady state of perpetual amusement with which you dealt with life. Even when you were complaining, you didn't seem so much p.o.'d...just amused and befuddled that such stupid stuff could even happen!

These last few months were difficult enough for casual acquaintances such as myself. I can only imagine how hard it was on those who were much closer to you. An illness, I guess, is just one 100 things that can cause a man's essential components to become separated. And that is never good. If there is anything positive in this outcome, it is that you are whole again, wherever you may be. Hope you will be looking at us and finding amusement in watching us deal with life's little annoyances, in the years to come! We will manage. We have all truly gained much more from you over the years, than we have lost in the last couple of days.

And..thank you for all the times that you thought of me, and brought over an extra Sam Adams or two. (Man cannot live on Bud Light alone.)

Good beer - good music - good friends - FOREVER!

Love, "Banjo Joe"

Mr. & Mrs. C., Kim, Todd, Leslie, Katie and Family,

I was deeply saddened to here about Scott. Growing up on New Road with him was like having a brother my own age. He was always the one to be right there in the middle of our mischief, at times the one plotting it. But the one thing that always stood out was his kindness and humor. Even though many years have passed, and the neighborhood pack of kids has disbanded, in my heart we will live on as some of the happiest memories of my life.

My deepest sympathy to everyone who loved him and mostly to his family,

With Love and Kindness,
Andrea Sharp (Buffy Lewandusky)

Dear Barry, Sherry and family,
Our thoughts and prayers are with you at this sad point in your lives. We all had such high hopes this past winter when Scott went for those treatments. Always remember that thought Scott may not be here with you no one can take those happy and beautiful memories of him away from you. He will always be part of your lifes because of that. His suffering if finally over and he is safe with his Lord and Savior. He is now your angel above and I'm sure he will be watching you all. May God bless you all and keep you in his loving arms while you go through your grief.
