I so wish there was some way I could have made it to Ohio to see Aunt Margie one last time, and to attend her funeral with the family. There are so many memories, enough to write a book. Aunt Margie and Uncle Pete were quite the pair! To my surprise Vanessa does have some memories of them in Queensbury. I regret that we didn't live close enough for my kids to really know them both. Aunt Margie was so proud of you "kids" Barbara, Marilyn, and Alan, as well as all her grandkids. I am a better person for having known her, as are so many others whose lives she touched. Aunt Margie has truly left behind a legacy with her strong personality, faith and good works. She will truly be missed.

I just wanted to let everyone in the family know that you are in my thoughts and prayers during this difficult time. I know Aunt Margie has touched so many lives. I have many different memories of her and just wanted to site a few, since I am unable to share them personally. We were just discussing recently about singers in the family and I was telling the kids how I remember her always singing or humming. I can never hear "Take me out to the Ball Game" without thinking about her. I will also truly miss deciphering her handwritten letters that I received periodically-thank goodness she found a typewriter from time to time! Hank and I have an internal chuckle almost daily thanks to something she mentioned in one letter after we moved to GA about how this wasn't a Catholic state. We live within walking distance of a huge Catholic Church and can't help but think of that comment or her whenever we pass by it! She will be missed but will remain within our hearts while she begins her new eternal life in Heaven with her loving God!
