Theresa Buchal Obituary

LAKE GEORGE Theresa "Tess" Buchal, 57, of Bradley Street, died Saturday, Nov. 3, 2007, at the Glens Falls Hospital after a long illness. Born on Aug. 15, 1950, in Liberty, N.Y., she was the daughter of the late Charles D. and Marion (Watson) Green. Tess was the former office manager for Convenient Medical in Queensbury. She enjoyed artisanal crafts, sewing and collecting Santas. She loved her family, all of the holidays, but she enjoyed Christmas the most. Charles and Tess especially enjoyed their annual visits to York Beach, Maine and Nubble Light House. Charles and Tess were high school sweethearts who were married on Dec. 28, 1968, in Liberty, N.Y. Besides her parents, her brother, Charles "Pat" Green also predeceased her. Survivors besides her husband of 38 years include their children, Derek Michael Buchal of Clover, S.C. and Jennifer Lynn Dodson and her fiance Ernest Dunkley of Lake George; their two grandsons, Charles Calvin Buchal and Dustin Michael Dunkley; her sister, Joan Most and her husband, Lee, of Ballston Spa and many aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews and cousins. Friends may call from 1 to 3 p.m. and 5 to 7 p.m. Tuesday, Nov. 6, 2007, at the M.B. Kilmer Funeral Home, 136 Main St., South Glens Falls. E-mail condolences may be sent at our Web site, www.kilmers.com. Funeral services will be conducted at 7 p.m. Tuesday, Nov. 6, at the funeral home. Burial will be at the convenience of the family. Charlie and family, Our deepest sympathies. Email seems a little informal and distant but our thoughts are very much personal and sincere. We have only known Theresa through her association with MerrieLynn and have not seen her for quite some time but we do remember her quick smile and pleasant personality all the time. It was always a pleasure to talk to her and we feel all the better for having been associated with her.
