I had the pleasure of working with Nick at Pearle Vision for 7 years. He had many loyal customers and we all enjoyed his jokes and wonderful sense of humor. He was the most family-oriented person I know, as you can tell from talking to Barbara or the girls for just a few minutes. I will be thinking of them all throughout the holidays to come. He would want us all to learn a lesson from his illness, and that is to appreciate life and family every day! We will miss Nick severely, and hope that if there's anything we can do to help the family they do not hesitate to call on us. God bless. Danette Christensen

Barbara and family: I am truly saddened to learn of Nick's passing. These last few years have been difficult on all of you. I do hope that you can find comfort in family and friends during your time of grief. I wish I had the opportunity to be there in person to offer my condolences, however, I am relocated to Chicago and only return to NY once per month. Rest assured that all of you are in my prayers during this difficult time. Again, my deepest sympathies. Dan

To the family of Dr. Crecca, I send my deepest sympathy. My family and I were patients of Dr. Crecca's for many years. He was a warm and caring person, extremely knowledgeable, outgoing, and quick to share a joke and a laugh. He always spoke fondly of his family. We will all miss him.

I had the honor of knowing Nick since our daughters (Liz and Kristen) played AAU basketball together in middle school. Nick was a loving and doting father, a devoted husband and sweet, gentle man with a wonderful sense of humor. His courage and gentle spirit in the face of the suffering he endured are an inspiration to all who knew him. God bless you, Nick.
