I have been a neighbor of Dave's since he moved to Lake Sunnyside and always enjoyed our visits 'over the back fense'-his love and dedication tp Bay Ridge Rescue and Fire Company are one of my memories of Dave. His home was once owned by my grandparents, which gave us many conversations and reminisence of the neighborhood.
May your fond memories of him be a comfort to you. What a nice guy!

Perry, I worked with Dave at Joy all through the 70's. My son called today and told me of his passing. He was a great guy and always had a joke. Dave made work fun I know that everyone he worked with have warm memories of him.
My deepest condolences.

We will miss David very much. He's been through so much this past year. He is now in the arms of our heavenly father. David was a long time friend and mentor, caring, would do anything for anyone in need. My mother and I will surely miss this wonderful man.

To Dave's Family:
My deepest sympathies on this great loss, he was a marvelous man. I knew Dave in the rescue squad and as one of my EMS instructors, he was extremely knowledgeable and kind. I will miss him very much, and the community has lost one wonderful, caring and dedicated man. My sympathies to all his friends in the rescue and fire depts. He meant a lot to all of us. And a big Thank You to Dave, he is certainly in Heaven, one fine Angel! All my love, Judy DeLong.
