Dear Sovetts Family,

I'm sorry for your loss. I have fond memories of the Sovetts family. My family, the Metzners, lived next door on Webster Avenue until 1951. I used to play with Lynne, and I'll never forget Gail's Madame Alexander dolls, which were just for "looking," not "touching."

My aunt and uncle were Alvin & Jane Applebaum, he was the son of Clara B. and Samuel Applebaum of Catskill. Aunt Jane spoke of going to Glens Falls in the 1940s-50s to visit Clara's sister's family, the Sovettses in Glens Falls. I believe Clara used to cook for your family when she would come up to visit. Aunt Jane died in 2001 and Uncle Al in 1966, I was born in 1968 the grandson of Jane's sister Erma. From our family to yours, we offer our condolences.
