Joan Balinski Obituary

BALINSKI, JOAN GOLDSTEIN, - of Seashore Gardens in Galloway Township, passed away on June 20, 2008. She was born and raised in Camden, the eldest daughter of Dr. Hyman I. Goldstein and Dorothy Wessel Goldstein, graduating from Camden High School in 1943. After receiving her BA from Rutgers University, she attended Columbia University working on her Masters degree in English. She had a long association in Administration in the Atlantic City School system, traveled extensively, and was involved in various charitable organizations and belonged to several Atlantic City synagogues. Later in life she married, and is predeceased by her husband, Edward, sister, Alice, and her brother, Dr. Louis Marshall Goldstein of Miami, FL. She is survived by her cousins, Judy, Sheila, Joseph, and Jerome on the Island of Patmos, and Arthur and David Hoffman and Andrew Wessel of Germany. Relatives and friends are invited to attend graveside services, Monday, June 23rd, 10 a.m., at Laurel Memorial Park, Egg Harbor Twp. Arr. Roth-Goldsteins' Memorial Chapel, Atlantic City.
