Bennett Lois Chapman

CHAPMAN, BENNETT, LOIS - of Egg Harbor City, passed away on Tuesday, June 17, 2008 at her home. Born in Richland, she was raised in Mays Landing and spent most of her life in Absecon. Mrs. Chapman was a member of the Atlantic County Humane Society, an avid reader and a supporter of the arts and enjoyed classical, big band, opera, ballet and Jazz trio music. She was a supporter of the Southern Poverty Law Center and was an advocate of all women's rights and causes. Surviving are her daughter: Corbie Chapman, Two grandchildren: Tabitha Chapman and Ryan Mattia all of Absecon and two nieces Sue Marx of Mays Landing and Janis Hohenwater of New Providence. Her funeral service and interment will be offered at a later date.
