Mary Glancey Obituary

GLANCEY, MARY T., 80 - of Sea Isle City, passed away Friday, June 20, 2008 in Ocean View Center, Ocean View. Born in Philadelphia, Pa she had lived in Elkins Park, Pa and had summered in Sea Isle City since 1950 moving here permanently in 1989 and was a winter resident of Naples, FL. Mrs. Glancey was a graduate of Hallahan Girls Catholic High School Class of 1945. She was predeceased by her parents: John and Mary O'Grady and a Brother: Tom O'Grady. Surviving are her husband John T. Glancey, five Children: Sheila Bentzel of Souderton, Pa, Maureen Wible (Steve) of Glen Riddle, Pa, John T. Glancey, Ill (Patricia) of Easton, MD, Brian Glancey (Tess) of Newtown, Pa and Melissa "Missy" BoneIlo of Naples, FL. Also surviving are nine grandchildren, two great grandchildren, three brothers: John O'Grady (Carole) of Philadelphia, Pa, William O'Grady (Joan) of Yardley, Pa, James O'Grady (Helen) of Malvern, Pa, a sister in law: Teresa O'Grady. A Mass of Christian Burial will be offered Friday Morning at 11 o'clock from St. Joseph's R.C. Church, 43rd Street at Landis Avenue, Sea Isle City, where friends may call from nine until 10:45. Burial will be private and at her family's convenience. In Lieu of flowers the family suggests those who desire send memorial contributions to either John W. Hallahan Catholic Girls High School, Attn: Margaret Gallagher, 311 North 19th Street, Philadelphia, Pa or Catholic Daughters of America, 15 45thStreet, Sea Isle City, NJ 08243. Glancey Family,
So sorry to hear about Mary. She was a great lady. Mary did enjoy life to the fullest. I'll never forget all the wonderful years growing up in the Elkins Park household. And the crazy memories she has blessed us with throughout the years.
