Shirley I. Coombs

COOMBS, SHIRLEY I., (Seacrest), 75 - of Vineland, passed away suddenly Saturday, June 21st 2008 in Genesis Eldercare, Millville, Center. Shirley was born in Senecaville, Ohio to the late Paul and Sylvia (Pittinger) Seacrest and lived in Vineland since 1953. Shirley was a homemaker and member of Sacred Heart Parish. She was predeceased by her sister Judith Jackson in 2008. Survivors include her loving husband of 56 years, Richard F. Coombs of Vineland, three sons- Stephen F. Coombs and Mitchell P. Coombs, both of Vineland and Matthew F. Coombs of Turnersville, sister Marjorie Cunningham and husband Jack of Newcomerstown, OH, brother Michael Seacrest and wife Maria of Columbus, OH, three grandchildren Justin DiGuissepi of Seattle, Wash., Emily and Alexander Coombs of Fairfield, brother-in-law Walter Jackson of Port Washington, OH and also several cousins, nieces and nephews. Funeral liturgy will be held Wednesday, June 25, 2008 at 10:00 a.m. from St. Francis of Assisi R.C. Church, 23 W. Chestnut Ave., Vineland. Visitation hours are Tuesday 7:00-9:00 p.m. in the Wainwright-Bernhardt Funeral Home, 1024 E. Landis Ave., Vineland and again Wednesday one hour prior to the liturgy in the church. Burial will follow in Sacred Heart Cemetery, Vineland. Donations in Shirley's memory may be made to Sacred Heart Church 1010 E. Landis Ave., Vineland, NJ 08360.
