To all those who LOVE Nancy (Lovey)!

It is with the greatest JOY that I CELEBRATE the life of my very dear friend who I call my "Big Sister"!

I am in Florida but my heart is there with all of you.

I first met Nancy in 1969 when she walked into Rose Marie's first grade classroom and with great enthusiasm exclaimed: "Okay, tell me about my gorgeous, brilliant, special and exceptional daughter, Rose Marie!" We became friends instantly. How easy to catch her spirit!

It was a treat to be invited to Nancy's home and experience the endless LOVE and PRIDE she had for her children. When she spoke of her Henry, she shared that they were blessed with a marriage made in Heaven.

Over the years, I would receive a surprise phone call when Nancy and Henry arrived in Florida. What fun we had ... what memories I enjoy! They make my heart smile.

I always treasured time with Nancy. There were moments of laughter, prayer, and stories of how the Lord touched her life and the life of many others through her. She was truly a woman of great FAITH ... God's witness to all of us. I am proud to call her my friend ... my "Big Sister"!

The legacy of Nancy's life will live on in her family and all of us who LOVE her.

Thank you, "Big Sister" Nancy, for the example of your life. It will be a JOYFUL CELEBRATION when we meet again ... at THE GATE!

To My Dear Cousins,
I was deeply saddened to hear of your mom’s passing. As a boy I remember always having a wonderful time when ever we came to visit. Aunt Nancy always made us feel at home. There was a lot of love in that house and it came from her and Uncle Henry. I know they are together now. I remember the last time I saw her and that she always had kind words for everyone. She was truly a great lady. My thoughts and prayers are with you.

THIS POEM SAY'S IT ALL;
Many times we've thought of you,
many times we've cried,
if love could have saved you,
you never would have died.

In life we loved you dearly,
in death we love you still.

In our hearts you hold a place
no one else can fill.

It broke our hearts to lose you,
but you didn't go alone,
for you took a part of us with you
the day God took you home.

To Diane and all Lovey's Family--
Nancy was a dear friend, prayer warrior, and such an inspiration to me! Her light shone brightly. It was a beacon, actually, and people were drawn to her because Jesus was so alive inside her personality and her heart. I loved Nancy's mischievous side, too! But it was her great faith and confidence in Our Lord that guided her life every day. She always had hope and persevered through every hardship she faced. I'm so thankful she is no longer suffering. My thoughts and prayers are with you all at this difficult time, as your loss is great. I imagine that Nancy is making everyone laugh up there in heaven! Much love from one of the "Dragonfly Club" members--

Dear Notaro Family,
My deepest sympathies are with you at this time in the loss of your mother, "Nancy." I hope that fond memories will comfort you, and I will pray for her.
Some of my fondest memories of Nancy are the following: She was so kind to me when I babysat for her and Henry on their houses on Marita Ann Drive and English Lane before going to college. When my parents bought property next to the Notaros' on English Lane, I remember Nancy and Henry talking to us about our plans.
I always admired Nancy's cheerfulness, her love of family, ability to have many children, and her strong religious faith. Once when I was not feeling well and she stopped in to visit at Mom's home next door, it was the highlight of my day.
I loved her sound advice about telling things from the heart, her sociability, dancing at my wedding - especially in the front line of a line dance, her visits and prayers for my Dad, seeing her out by the pool, and, in later years, when she frequently visited with Jane, and rode on her scooter. When I heard Nancy was moving to Texas, I felt sad, and then was glad she came back to New Jersey.
I enjoyed talking with Nancy about how she met Henry - walking by a home that he was building, he came out and talked with her.
Nancy had a great outlook on life, a wonderful sense of humor, deep compassion for others, and a down-to-earth quality about her, and she will be missed.

You were always the life of the party and, although I am thankful you are no longer in pain, I will miss you terribly. I will remember all of our talks and all of your advice. I am grateful to have had you in my life. Please kiss Mom for me. I love you.

Aunt Nancy was a wonderful woman and will be missed dearly. As an extended member of our family, she was a dear friend to our Grandmother, Ann Bambrick, and Godmother to my mother, Frances Goldberg. From childhood to becoming a mother myself, I’ve had many happy memories of Aunt Nancy being present for major events in our lives. Always making this little red headed girl smile, fun-loving thoughts will always surround her.
