Joan Olexa Obituary
OLEXA, JOAN MARIE, (Barbas), 71 - of North Cape May, passed away on Wednesday, June 19, 2008 surrounded by her loving family. Born in Philadelphia, PA Joan moved to North Cape May in 1968. She worked for many years as a nurse in both Pennsylvania and New Jersey. Predeceased by her son Joseph Sr., Joan is survived by her loving husband of 50 years Bruce Sr., sons, Bruce Jr. (Theresa) of Erma, Kevin (Renee) of Villas and Russell Sr. (Rachel) of Mays Landing, 11 grandchildren, Heather, Joseph Jr., Diane, Bryan, Paul, Bruce III, Russell Jr., Andrew, Richard, Christopher and Nicholas. She loved to play bingo and her lucky Cleopatra slot at Caesars. She will be missed by everyone who's lives she touched. Relatives and friends may call at Evoy Funeral Home, 3218 Bayshore Road, North Cape May on Thursday, June 26, 2008 from 10 to 11 a.m., followed by a brief service at 11 a.m. In lieu of flowers donations are suggested in Joan's memory to: Cape May Veterinary Hospital, 694 Petticoat Creek Lane, North Cape May, NJ 08204.
