Erin Elton Obituary
ELTON, ERIN LISA 19., - of Egg Harbor Township, went home to be with our Lord, suddenly on June 22, 2008. Erin was born March 29, 1989. Class of 2007 EHT High School. She was previously attending Atlantic Cape Community College pursuing a career in nursing. As an athlete, Erin participated in cheerleading, basketball, diving, track and cross -country. Erin was a member of the German Club in EHT High School and traveled to Germany and visited Dan, an exchange student. They became good friends. Erin attended Community Church of the Nazarene. Erin was full of life! She enjoyed spending time with her family and friends, dining and especially shopping and collecting pocket books. Her hobbies were photography, the beach and anything related to Germany! Erin is survived by her mother, Linda M Feiertag, step-father Frank Berckman, of EHT, her father, Joseph W. Elton, wife Evelyn of Mays Landing, brother, Frank DeBiase IV, of Egg Harbor City, sisters, Leah Elton of Egg Harbor City, Brittany Elton of EHT. Grandparents Betty Price of Linwood, Winfield and Pat Elton of Mays Landing. Godparents Jim and Rose Shockley of EHT. The Berckman family of Cherry Hill. She will be sadly missed by aunts and uncles, cousins, niece and nephews, and a host of family and friends. A Visitation will be held at Adams-Perfect Funeral Home, Wednesday, June 25th 7-9 PM. 1650 New Road (US No.9) Northfield. There will be another viewing Thursday, June 26th 10-11 AM Community Church of the Nazarene 2151 Zion Road, Northfield. A Service will be held at 11 AM. Burial will be immediately following service at Palestine Cemetery at Scullville Bible Church, 1546 Somers Point - Mays Landing Road, Egg Harbor Township, (Scullville). Erin, I cannot believe this happened. I am sorry i was not at the funeral, I just found out last night this tragic news. You were an awesome person, I always had a great time with you everytime i was with u and britt! U are such a good person and great sister and i know u will be missed but not forgotten. I will pray for ur family. Always keep an eye on them I know they love you very much. I just cannot believe it, i will miss u and always think of u and ur beautiful smile and all the fun times we had. So glad that i got to meet someone as wonderful as you. Rest in peace. wow is this real? I can't even begin to understand. I sit here & just have scattered thoughts & emotions. maybe I should start by explaining the "BIG LIL SISTER" everytime we were out or bumpin into people it was so funny yet proud to say this is my lil sister when yet i was only 5'1" you grew sooo big & beautiful. I will always be your big sis as to u 2 bebee. we'll never be apart.All of us will always be sister no one can ever take that from us.I'm goin to cherish the times we had & loved our fights too. The chinese food fight was the best and the pizza after. Look after our babies because they are yours too. I know u love them & they love their TiTi Erin too. I was one of Erin's teachers and I was unable to attend the service because I was out of the country. I was shocked and saddened when I heard the news about Erin. She was a good person who always made me laugh and was loyal to her friends.My thoughts and prayers are with her family and friends.

Erin, the last couple of months we had grown so close. I still hear you saying to me, " Mia i love you like family". and when you would say it i always laughed cuz we were always saying how we were just alike. We had been through some of the same things and we understood eachother. The last couple of months we spent uncountable hours at the tattoo parlor with Bill. Trying to figure out what else we could get pierced, or tattooed. And we talked about me getting the irish claddagah like you had on your back cuz we are both irish and crazy as hell. My husband always said we were two peas in a pod. And no one ever understood half of the things we thought were funny except us. I miss you terribly Erin. I miss laughing with you and crying with you.I will never forget you. I carry you in my heart! I love you!

Erin and I took swimming lessons together when we were little. As we got older, we still remained friends as both of our parents went through a divorce and we leaned on each other for support. She was such a great friend and always seemed to be there when I needed her. Although Erin and I did not end up in the same circle of friends, she always remained loyal to me. At a time like this, we are at a loss for words to express our condolence to someone who has lost a loved one. How to say it to bring comfort? How to say that we care? How to say that we understand? All I can say is that Erin was as honest as a person could be and had a real heart. These qualities are more then most people have today. I first met Erin when I was 5 years old. She was my first friend when I moved to EHT and I'll never forget her. In middle school we were close but as we grew older we didn't keep in touch as much. I was shocked when I heard the news and it really hurt. She was a great friend and I will never forget the good times we had. My heart is broken , but I have a lifetime of memories to keep you alive & warm my heart. You were my shadow as a little girl and grew into a tall shadow as a beautiful young lady. I m so proud of you. I miss being able to touch , kiss and just smell you. I have a shirt that you borrowed to stay out of the rain with that I will not wash because its smells like you.
