Eula Brannum-Tolbert Obituary



BRANNUM-TOLBERT, EULA MAUD "AUNT "T"., 71 - of Atlantic City, departed this life and went home to be with the Lord on Tuesday, June 24, 2008, at the AtlantiCare Regional Medical Center, City Division. She was born in Ashburn, GA., attended Worth County public schools and graduated from high school. Eula relocated to Atlantic City in November, 1975. She was a member of the New York Avenue Church of God, Atlantic City, where she served as a Deaconess. Preceding her in the afterlife are her parents, Eula Maud Chatman and Jimmie Tolbert. Survivors are: one daughter, Rosemary Brannum of Atlantic City; her former husband, Henry Brannum of Ty Ty, GA.; three brothers, Linson Tolbert Sr., and wife Bernice of Atlantic City, Lonzie Tolbert Sr., and wife, Pastor Lee Nora Tolbert of New York Ave. Church of God and Ernest Tolbert and wife, Cynthia of Pleasantville; special friend, Margaret Smith of Atlantic City; her support team, Evangelist Louise Smith, her niece; Shannon Stukes, caregiver; and Betty Barr, Marcie Ingrum, Linson Tolbert, Sr., and Pastor Lee Nora Tolbert and a host of other loving relatives. Viewing services will be held 8 a.m. until 12 p.m. on Friday, June 27, 2008 at Mikal's Funeral Parlor, Inc., 1033 Baltic Ave., Atlantic City. Interment will follow with graveside services at the Atlantic City Cemetery, Pleasantville. Please sign guest book at Legacy.com or email: [email protected]

Hello Rosemary,
My heart was sad when I heard that Maud had passed away but my sorry turned to joy when I realized that by now she has already met Jesus. She was truly an icon in the family and one who was loved by everyone. May the good hand of the Lord continue to rest upon you and please know that we love you very much.
