John Winslow Obituary



WINSLOW, JOHN C., 83 - of Reed's Beach, formerly of East Camden. On July 1, 2008. Beloved husband of the late Ruth (nee Cotton). Loving father of the late Ruth Ann. Dear brother of Ellen C. Stalcup of Cherry Hill, George W. Winslow of E. Stroudsburg, PA, and the late Anne Lafferty. Also survived by many loving nieces, nephews and cousins. John served as a Medic in the Army during World War II. He has been a member of Carpenter's Local 393-Gloucester City for 62 years and served as the Scoutmaster for Boy Scout Troop 36 in East Camden for 40 years. He was a member of Dias Creek United Methodist Church, formerly a member of Asbury United Methodist Church in East Camden for many years, where he served on the Board of Trustees. He was also an avid fisherman and hunter. Relatives and friends are invited to the viewing 9-11am Saturday, July 5, 2008 at the BRADLEY FUNERAL HOME, Rt 73 & Evesham Rd., Marlton. Funeral Service 11am Saturday at the Funeral Home. Interment Bethel Memorial Park, Pennsauken. In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations to Dias Creek United Methodist Church, c/o Elena Becica, 15 Bobwhite La., Cape May Court House, NJ 08210.
