Sadie Boson Obituary



BOSON, SADIE JANE 77, - of Atlantic City, departed this life and went home to be with the Lord on Tuesday, July 1, 2008, at home. She was born on April 26, 1931, in Charlotte, NC, attended the local public school system and graduated from West Charlotte High School. Sadie Jane relocated to Brooklyn NY and later to Atlantic City. She was lastly employed by the Senator Convalescent Center for many years and owned her own convenience store in Atlantic City. Sadie Jane was affiliated with Hamilton Memorial United Methodist Church. Preceding her in the afterlife: husband, Alonzo Boson; her only child, Brenda Dixon; her parents, Laura (nee Osborn) and Samuel Black; 14 brothers and sisters and most recently, Eula Hill. Survivors: her grandchildren, Kelvin Nixon and his wife, Genovese of Pleasantville and Melissa Nixon of Galloway; and three great-grandchildren. Funeral services will be held 2 p.m. on Monday July 7, 2008, at Mikal's Funeral Parlor, 1033 Baltic Avenue, Atlantic City, where friends may view from 1 p.m. Interment will follow in Seaside Cemetery, Palermo.
