Terrence L. "Terry" Bowers

BOWERS, TERRENCE L., "TERRY", 66 - of Egg Harbor Township, passed away on Wednesday, June 2, 2008 at his home. Born in Philadelphia, PA, he was an Ocean City resident for many years before moving to Egg Harbor Township six years ago. He was a graduate of Abington High School class of 1959 and LaSalle University class of 1966. Mr. Bowers was the owner of Klose Brothers Trucking Company in Philadelphia, PA, was a Salesman for McAllister in Somers Point, and most recently a School Bus Driver in Egg Harbor Township. He was a avid boater, fisherman and golfer. Surviving are his wife, Sara "Sally" Bowers (nee Christy) of Egg Harbor Township, three children, Brian Bowers (Kim) of Wyncote, PA, Christopher Bowers (Christine) of Willow Grove, PA, Bethanne Brown (Steve) of Willow Grove, PA, three step children, Gina Macom of Seaville, James McHugh (fiance Erin) of Woodbury, Erin Maloney (Casey) of Dunmore, PA, 15 grandchildren, two brothers, Jerry Bowers (Maureen) of Melford, Stephen Bowers, III (Jane) of West Chester, PA, and a sister, Kathy Tucker of Warminster, PA. A Catholic Prayer Service will be offered Monday morning at 11 o'clock from The Godfrey Funeral Home of Palermo, 644 South Shore Road, Palermo, where friends may call from ten o'clock until the time of service.
