Marylou Peterson

PETERSON, MARYLOU, 46 - of Ventnor, passed away at Our Lady of Lourdes Hospital on July 4, 2008 surrounded by her loving family. She was born in Atlantic City on October 8, 1961 and was a resident of Ventnor City her entire life. Marylou graduated from Holy Spirit High School in 1982. She was a volunteer at the ARC in Ventnor and an avid Phillies fan. She also loved spending time with her family and especially enjoyed entertaining her 18 nieces and nephews, but never all at once! Marylou could often be found on her front porch greeting her friends and neighbors or reading a good book. Marylou is predeceased by her grandparents, Annabelle and Alfred Durney, Kathryn and Clarence Peterson, her Uncle John Durney and Aunt Miriam Ashman. She is survived by her parents, Charles and Mary (Durney) Peterson of Ventnor; Sisters, Kathleen Wirth (Phil) of Palm Harbor, Florida, Eileen DiPasquale of Somers Point, Donna McFadden (Tom) of Northfield; Brothers, Charles Peterson (Carolyn) of Northfield, Daniel Peterson (Andrea) of Glen Mills, Pennsylvania, and James Peterson (Andrea) of Medford. Marylou is also survived by her many nieces, nephews, cousins, aunts and uncles. Marylou is now with her best friend, Grandmom Durney, "flying with the angels." Mass of Christian Burial will be held 10:30 a.m. on Tuesday, July 8, 2008 at St. James Church, Ventnor, where a viewing will begin at 9:00 a.m. Interment will follow at Holy Cross Cemetery, Mays Landing.
