Barbara Hurd Obituary

HURD, BARBARA K., (NEE BRAD), 67, - of Leisuretowne, Southampton, went home to be with the Lord on July 7th, 2008. Born in Phila., PA, she has resided in Leisuretowne for the past 8 yrs. moving there from the Lake Pine section of Medford. Barbara was a long time Beautician with Joseph of Medford at Medford Leas in Medford. She is the Beloved wife of 47 years of Irvine M. Hurd Jr. of Southampton, and the Loving Mother of Irv. M. Hurd III and his wife Gwyn of Tabernacle, Michael Hurd of Brooklyn, NY and Diane Sweeney of Newtown, PA. She is also survived by her brother Frank Brad of Rio Grande, and her Grandchildren Brandon Hurd, and Ryan and Michael Sweeney. Relatives and friends are invited to greet the family on Friday from 10:00 - 11:00 AM at the Church of the Holy Eucharist, 520 Medford Lakes-Tabernacle Rd. Tabernacle, where a Memorial Mass will be held on Friday at 11:00 AM. Funeral arrangements are by the BRADLEY & STOW FUNERAL HOME, Medford, (609-953-7600). Interment will be private and at the convenience of the family. In lieu of other expressions of sympathy the family requests memorial donations to the St. Vincent DePaul Society in memory of Barbara Hurd, C/O Holy Eucharist Church, 520 Medford Lakes-Tabernacle Rd., Tabernacle, NJ 08088. We have many great memories of Barbara and living behind the Hurd family. What wonderful neighbors we had. We still miss the "good old days" in Lake Pine. Our deepest and most sincere sympathy goes out to Irv, Michael, Irv and Diane.
