George Junne Obituary



JUNNE, GEORGE H. SR., "POP POP", 85, - of Hammonton, went home to be with the Lord on July 4, 2008. Born in Atlantic City, he lived in Williamstown for over 50 years. He moved to Hammonton where he lived until his passing. George served in the Army and was a WWII veteran. After retiring from the service in 1968 he went to work for the US Postal Service in Bellmawr. After 24 years he retired from the post office and began working at the Frank Farley Plaza on the A.C.E. where he worked for 15 years. George was married to the late Gertrude Junne-Phillips. He was also predeceased by his life companion Josefina Sessions, his daughter Carolyn Pritchett, ten brothers and sisters and grandson Brian Baines. He leaves behind his children George H. Junne, Jr., Diane Baines and Maria Junne and his sister Yvonne Gaines. He is survived by a host of many relatives and friends. Viewing will be held on Wednesday from 11:30 am - 12:30 pm at the Farnelli Funeral Home, 504 N. Main Street, Williamstown, service at 12:30 pm.
