Joy Pittner Obituary
PITTNER, JOY ROSE, 65 - Loving wife mother and Mom-mom passed away suddenly, July 6, 2008. Born in Philadelphia, PA, she is the daughter of Eleanor Villone and the late Victor Scogna. Beloved wife of 42 years to Eugene Frank Pittner of Egg Harbor Township. Loving and devoted mother and friend to four children, Dana Pittner of Egg Harbor Township, Christy (Pittner) and husband David DiLeonardo of Vineland, Gene Pittner and wife Carrie, Joy (Pittner) and husband James Malko. Joy enjoyed watching the Food Network channel and sharing her recipes with everyone. She especially loved spending time with her family and doting on her five grandchildren, Justin Pittner, Jason Pittner, David DiLeonardo, Ava Rose DiLeonardo, Gia DiLeonardo. She will be greatly missed. Family and Friends are invited to attend her Memorial Service on Thursday, July 10 at 6:30 pm at the George H. Wimberg Funeral Home, 1707 New Road, Linwood where visitation will begin at 6:00 pm.

Dear Gene and extended Pittner Family:
Joy was just as her name indicated a JOY to be around. Always made me feel welcome in her home. She was a special friend, no matter how much time would pass we could always pick up where we left off. Just as no time had passed at all. People pass through our life for a reason, we can always gain much more from knowing that special person. Joy was that special person to me and will always hold a place in my heart as a true friend.

Dear Pittner Family,
I am so sorry for the loss of your loving mother and wife. I will always remember the Christmas Eve parties and singing the 12 days of Christmas with your family.
