Henry Burhenne Obituary

BURHENNE, HENRY F. SR., 81, - of Folsom, on Sunday July 6, 2008 at the S.J. Health Care, Vineland. Born in Greenwood, DE, formerly of Hilltop, he was a resident of Folsom the past 45 years. He was a retired carpenter for Local Union 1073, Phila. A U.S. Army Veteran of WWII he reenlisted in the U.S. Air Force during the Korean War. Mr. Burhenne was a life member of the V.F.W. Post, Williamstown. Dearly loved by his family & friends, he was an avid fisherman. Predeceased by a brother, Walter Jr., surviving are his beloved wife, June A. (nee Mahoney) of 55 years. Three daughters, Debra Lynn McAroy (Robert), Lancaster, PA., Nancy Ann Berenato (Peter a. Jr.), Hammonton, Judy Ann Peiper (Daniel), Carlisle, PA., a son, Henry F. Jr.(Caroline), Folsom. Two sisters, Caroline Timberlake, Stratford, Marie Luby, Hill Top. Also five grandchildren, Robert Jr.& Daniel McAroy, Peter C. Berenato, Wyatt Peiper, Kyle D. Burhenne and one great-granddaughter, Samantha McAroy. Funeral service will be held on Thursday July 10, 2008 11A.M. at the Landolfi Funeral Home, 237 Bellevue Ave., Hammonton, Viewing from 10 a.m. Military Honors Burial in the Atlantic City Veterans Cemetery, Estelle Manor. Memorial donations may be made to the D.A.V., P.O. Box 14301, Cincinnati, OH. 45250-0301, Attn: Gift Processing.
