John Woytkewicz Obituary



WOYTKEWICZ, JOHN P., 59, - of Fairton, died at his home on Saturday morning, July 5, 2008. He had been in failing health for the past two months. The husband of Sandra Richie Woytkewicz, he was born in Delaware County, PA. and was the son of the late John J. Woytkewicz and Emma Kaminski Woytkewicz. He had lived at his present address for seven months and prior to that had resided in Delmont. He had been employed with the Alcan Packaging Co. in Millville. John was a veteran of the U. S. Marine Corps, serving in the Vietnam Conflict. He was an avid fisherman and enjoyed boating, woodworking and landscaping. He was a very loving husband and father. Besides his wife survivors include: one son, John P. Woytkewicz, Jr. and his fiancee Michelle Dohanick of Galloway Township; two daughters, Kristie Cooper and her husband Darren, Hammonton and Amy Cook and her husband Shaun, Williamstown; two step-sons, Cornelius W. Griner, Jr., Fairton and Anthony C. Griner, Bridgeton; two grandchildren, Matthew Cooper and Lauren Cooper; two step-grandchildren, Cornelius Griner, III and Elijah Griner; one sister, Connie Woytkewicz, Clifton Heights, PA. and several nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by a brother, Paul Woytkewicz. His Funeral Liturgy will be celebrated in the Church of the Immaculate Conception, 312 North Pearl St., Bridgeton, on Friday morning, July 11, at 11:00 O'clock. Burial will be in the Cumberland County Veterans Cemetery, Hopewell Township. A viewing will be held at the PADGETT FUNERAL HOME, 1107 State Highway 77, Upper Deerfield Township, on Friday morning between 9:00 and 10:00 O'clock.
