Miriam Snyder Obituary

SNYDER, MIRIAM "MITZI", 83, - of Atlantic City, born on May 10, 1925. She worked at M.E. Blatt and during World War II, worked as a nurse's aid at Haddon Hall and as secretary of Allied Nations in Washington D.C. After her marriage to Irvin in 1947, she worked as a secretary in her husband's accounting practice, as a secretary in Partnerships of Snyder and Cohen, and secretary in the accounting practices of Kalter, Snyder, Bernstein, Cohen, Simpson, and Gilbert. She retired along with her husband in 1989. She is survived by her husband, Irvin, son Richard (Anita), daughters, Gail and Nancy, and brothers Edward (Martha) Saul and Marvin (Betty) Saul. She was predeceased by her brother, Captain Louis Saul, killed in World War II, sister, Evelyn Hersohn, and parents, Ralph and Lillian Saul, who owned the Carolina Grill. Mitzi was a member of Hadassah and Beth El Synagogue. Relatives and friends are invited to attend, graveside services, today 3pm at Beth Kehillah Cem., Egg Harbor Twp. Shiva will be observed at her late residence. In lieu of flowers, the family asks that contributions in her memory may be made to AVODA or to the charity of the donor's choice. Arrangements by Roth-Goldsteins' Memorial Chapel, Atlantic City.
