Carmella Pino Obituary

PINO, CARMELLA A. "CAMILLE", 95 - of Brigantine, passed away on Tuesday, July 8, 2008. Camille was born in South Philadelphia and recently resided in Brigantine. Over the years, she spent much time at the Jersey Shore, from a long-time summer home in Atlantic City to vacationing at her son's home in Ventnor. Camille was known for her love of cooking and extreme fondness of the casinos. In fact, she would say that all her aches and pains disappeared while inside the casino playing her favorite game, poker. Never one to pass up an icy cold beer, Camille often sat with a can of Bud and a cigarette while telling her colorful life stories to her grandchildren and great grandchildren. The cook of the family, Camille frequently prepared meals for a small army of relatives. She was not content until she made sure her family and guests were fed and happy. Camille is predeceased by her husband, Joseph M. Pino and her son, Ronald S. Pino, sisters Louise Blase and Madeline DelVecchio, brothers William Lerro, Louis Lerro and James Lerro. She is survived by her daughter, Rita A. Lauletta and her husband, Joe, a brother, Frank Lerro and his wife, Josephine, her daughter-in-law, Catherine E. Pino, grandchildren, Lori Loveland, Joseph Lauletta, Kimberly Lauletta and Ronald J. Pino, and six great grandchildren, Paige Loveland, Elaina Loveland, Johnny Torres, Maci Torres, Joseph Lauletta and Joy Lauletta. Visitation and services will be held 9am, Monday, July 14, 2008 at St. Rita's Church, Broad and Federal Streets, Philadelphia, PA. Interment will be in Sts. Peter and Paul Cemetery, Springfield, PA.

My Condolences to All. I just found out about Aunt Camille's passing and am so very sorry that I missed her funeral services. I have so many fond childhood memories of both Aunt Camille and Uncle Joe. I am so very sorry for your loss. I am sure that there was a HUGE group of Pino's greeting her when she arrived at Heaven's Gate. Love to all, Cousin Karen (Unc Pete & Aunt Rose's daughter)
