Otto B. Zaak

ZAAK, OTTO B. 70 - of North Vineland, passed away on Saturday afternoon at home after a brief illness. Otto was born in Bridgeton and raised in Vineland where he was a lifelong city resident. He was the son of the late Christine (Scarpa) & Werner Zaak. Before retiring in1999 with 39 years of service, Otto was employed by the City of Vineland Electric Utility as a crew leader. He was a U.S. Air Force Veteran, member of the Newfield Sportsmen Club and a former treasurer and volunteer fireman with the North Vineland Fire. Co. #3. He enjoyed hunting, gardening, working in his yard but most of all he enjoyed his time spent with his family especially his grandchildren and great grandchildren. He is survived by his wife of 44 yrs.: Betty (Cagle), one son: Werner Zaak, one daughter: Pamela Myers, five grandchildren: Karlyn, Reaser, Rebekah, Buddy and Shelby, three great grandchildren: Aniah, Caden, Rowan; one sister: Janet and her husband Ray Heslin; one sister in law: Mary Louise & husband Robert Bailey. Funeral services will be conducted at 12 Noon on Wednesday in the Pancoast Funeral Home, 676 S. Main Rd., Vineland, NJ where friends will be received from 10:30 a.m. to 12 Noon.
