William Wythe Obituary



WYTHE, WILLIAM N., "BILL", 75, - of Mays Landing, passed away July 15th, after an extended illness. Surrounded by his family, Bill had been a lifelong resident of Atlantic County. Bill retired after operating local buses for 32 years with Atlantic City Transportation Company and NJ Transit. He also later retired from Atlantic City Expressway-Egg Harbor Plaza. Bill was a veteran of the United States Navy, serving in the Atlantic Fleet on the U.S.S. Macon. Bill is survived by his present wife, Cindra and preceded by Julia "Kay" and Sharon. He is also survived by his four children, Michelle (Skip), Barry (Maureen), Scott (Patti), Carrie (Dave) and step-children Bruce Foltz and Christine (Shawn) Foran. Ten grandchildren including step-grandchildren and expecting a grandchild and his first great-grandchild, both in the fall. His parents, Quinton and Dorothy, preceded Bill in death and survived by brother David (Marie), and sister Gloria (Ed) Ford. Viewing will be held on Thursday 7-9 pm and Friday 9 am, with Services at 10 am Adams-Perfect Funeral Home, 1650 New Rd., Northfield, followed by interment at Laurel Memorial Cemetery in Pomona. Casual attire is welcomed. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Paralyzed Veterans of America. www.supportveterans.org and the American Heart Association Research Fund www.americanheart.org.
