Mamie Robinson Obituary

ROBINSON, MAMIE 96, - of Vineland, passed away on July 16, 2008. She was born in New York City, where she resided until she and her family moved to Vineland in the 1940s. She attended and graduated from Vineland High School with honors. Mamie worked at Sears Roebuck for many years and was an active member of Beth Israel Congregation, Beth Israel Sisterhood, and Hadassah. She was a dynamic woman who enjoyed life and loved her family. Her parents, Phillip and Freida Levy and her husband, Benjamin Robinson, predeceased her. She is survived by her son Arnold Robinson (Ada) of Millville, her daughter Sherry Robinson, and grandchildren Benjamin Robinson and Matthew Robinson. A graveside service and burial will be held Friday, July 18th, 1:00 pm at Alliance Cemetery, Gershal Avenue, Norma. ARRANGEMENTS are under the supervision of Rone Funeral Service, 1110 East Chestnut Avenue, Vineland, 08360 Donations: In lieu of flowers, the family request that donations may be made to Beth Israel Synagogue 1015 Park Avenue Vineland, NJ 08360.
