Alice Harrigan Obituary

HARRIGAN, ALICE, (NEE RIGGINS) 87 - on August 7, 2008, at the Masonic Home of Burlington. Formerly of Cramer Hill, Camden. Beloved wife of the late Robert G. Harrigan. Dear mother of Alice (David) Sinclair and Robert W. (Karen) Harrigan. She is also survived by four grandchildren: Brian, Larry, Katie and Ellen, six great-grandchildren, a sister, Marion Bejster and many beloved nieces and nephews. Mrs. Harrigan was active in the PTA of H.C. Sharp School, Cramer Hill and a longtime volunteer with the American Red Cross. She also lived with Loretta Sommers for many years in Linwood. Relatives and friends are invited to attend her Funeral Service Tuesday 11 AM at the FOSTER-WARNE FUNERAL HOME, Haddon & Lees Aves., Collingswood. Interment Arlington Cemetery, Pennsauken. Friends may visit with the family Tuesday 10 to 11 AM at the funeral home. The family request in lieu of flowers, contributions be made in her memory to the Masonic Home, 902 Jacksonville Rd., Burlington, NJ 08016.

What a lovely lady! After giving blood in Pleasantville, Alice was always there to offer refreshments but, more importantly, to ask about your day and share her life's experiences with you. She truly made the world a better place.
