Anthony DeNafo Obituary



DE NAFO, ANTHONY J., 89, - of Ventnor, on August 9, 2008. Tony was a union painter with Local 277 and had been employed at Bally's Casino Hotel. Formerly of Philadelphia he was a Ventnor resident for 30 years. He was a member of the Men of Malvern for 60 years and served with the U.S. Army during WWII. He was predeceased by his wife Connie and son Ronnie Viola. He is survived by daughter Donna Demarco; Sister-in-law Helene DeNafo and her children Elizabeth, Donna and Ike; many nieces, nephews; extend family and loyal friend Frank Parto. Funeral mass Wednesday 10:30 a.m. at St. James Church, Newport & Atlantic Ave, Ventnor, where friends may call beginning at 9:30 am. Int. Holy Cross Cem., Mays Landing. Contributions in his memory may be sent to St. Judes Children's Research Hospital; Memorial & Honors Program; 501 St. Jude Pl, Memphis, TN 38105. (George H. Wimberg Funeral Home)

To the family of Anthony De Nafo,
I never knew Anthony,but I knew is brother Ike. Ike's wife Helene use to work with me at Ventnor School. If Anthony was anything like his brother Then he was a wonderful and caring man. I'm so sorry for your loss. You are in my prayers.
