Ursula Jackson Pandolfi Obituary

JACKSON PANDOLFI, URSULA M., 68, - of Cape May Court House, passed away on August 10, 2008. Ursula was born in Wilmington, DE on December 2, 1939, daughter of the late Lewis P. and Mary (Delapo) Yacabell. She had owned Walter's Self-Service Market in Wilmington with her beloved husband, Louis Pandolfi. Skilled and immensely creative, she possessed a passion for interior decorating and floral arrangements. She was also an avid and knowledgeable antique collector. Ursula was a loving homemaker, endlessly devoted to her loved ones. She found great joy in cooking for family and friends. Ursula was predeceased by her husband, Louis Pandolfi; brother, Lewis; and sister, Marlene. She is survived by her husband, James R. Jackson; daughters, Barbara A. Pongia (Vincent), Bernadette E. Nardo (Dennis), and Donna M. Fawley (Robert); grandchildren, Elizabeth, Louis, and Madeleine Pongia, Dennis Jr. and Michael Nardo, and Robert Fawley Jr.; brothers, Angelo and Gregory; sisters, Dolores DiIenno, Gloria Radka, and Christine Yacabell; and multiple nieces and nephews. A Funeral Service will be held at the CHARLES P. ARCARO FUNERAL HOME, 2309 Lancaster Ave. (opp. Cathedral Cemetery) in Wilmington, DE, on Thursday morning, August 14 at 11:00am. Interment will follow in Cathedral Cemetery. Family and friends may call at the funeral home on Wednesday evening, August 13, from 6-8pm, and on Thursday morning, prior to service, from 10-11am. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the American Heart Association, 1 Union St., #301, Robbinsville, NJ 08691, or to St. Anthony of Padua Church, 901 N.
