Stephen Mormile Obituary

MORMILE, STEPHEN V., 86, - of Brigantine, passed away August 8, 2008, in Atlantic City. Stephen was born in Glasco, NY in 1921. He was a graduate of Drexel University, where he received a degree in Electrical Engineering, and was employed by RCA in Camden for 30 years. Stephen proudly served his country during WWII with the United States Navy. Stephen enjoyed fishing and gardening. Stephen was predeceased by his parents Dominic and Olympia (nee LaPorte). He is survived by his wife Edith, daughter Annette M. Bixler, son Robert A (Linda) Mormile; and a sister Ann (Richard) Coutant. Also surviving are his seven loving grandchildren and five great-grandchildren. A gathering and Life Celebration will be held on Tuesday, August 12, from 7 to 9 PM and then again on Wednesday from 8:30 to 9:30 AM at Keates-Plum Funeral Home, 3112 Brigantine Blvd., Brigantine. A Memorial Mass will be offered on Wednesday at 10 AM at St. Thomas Church, 8th Street, Brigantine. Interment private.
