Joe was a wonderful and giving man. When we lived in Cape May back in the early 90's, he kind of adopted our family since we had no family nearby. He spoiled our daughter rotten, had us over for dinner often and sometimes would take us out for ice cream or just to show us the sights and to share his memories with us. He will live on in my memories as he will for all who knew and loved him.

Joe, (or as I always have and always will know him; Uncle Joe), had such a huge impact on my life. My family always lived close by, and my brother and I often worked for him as children. He loved to laugh and enjoy the simpler things in life, and he taught us to do the same. He was one of the hardest workers I have ever met. He taught my brother and me that hard work, mixed with frugality, can pay off in the end. I fell out of touch with Uncle Joe later in life, something that I am regretting immensely. I will always keep my fond childhood memories of my Uncle, and remember him at his best.

Joe was such a wonderful man. He was always so kind and generous to us as kids when our father would take us down to Cape May to visit him. When I grew up and brought my own children to visit, he would fill them up with ice cream & candy whether I liked it or not, just as he had done when we were kids. Joe had such kind eyes and a great sense of humor. He was a great friend to my father, who thought the world of him. I can't think of another soul in this world like him. He will be deeply missed. God bless your family...
