Saddened to just learn of this lost. Me and Pearl go waaay back uptown, I remember days sitting on their porch talking to her mom...and as others have said she always had a smile and a laugh, and always asked about my mom and brothers whenever I saw her. I saw her a couple of months ago and we held up the line in the store talking about the goodness of the Lord...in spite of. Oh she's rejoicing now, God has smiled on her. My prayers go out to the entire family. Ricky, Toby, & Boo please know that God will give you a Peace that surpasses all understanding. Pearline will truly be missed.

Dear Toby and Family,

I am sorry to hear of the loss of Pearl. Toby, as I look back over our lives and our generation it is amazing to me how so many of our families, friends and classmates have made Jesus our choice. I will miss running into Pearl on this side but I do look forward to seeing Jesus, Pearl and all of the saints in glory. I can't even imagine the joy that Pearl is feeling being in the presence of our Lord! 1 Corinthians 2:9 tells us "But as it is written, Eye hath not seen, nor ear heard, neither have entered into the heart of man, the things which God hath prepared for them that love him." What a time! What a time! When we all get to heaven what a day of rejoicing that will be! I am reminded of what my Bishop told me and my family as we stood by the bedside of my deceased brother last year wanting so badly for him not to go. Bishop said, he is gone and if he could come back he would not want to. My prayers are with you at this time of loss. God will keep and comfort you and your family.

God bless you,
Yvonne

Toby and family,
My heart is sad to hear of your loss. May you all stay encouraged and find strength in our heavenly father. I shall always have the memory of Pearl praising the Lord at Shiloh with her moraccans in hand. She inspired me to use my moraccans for praise instead of just art. Pearl had a lively spirit which I am sure we all will miss. God bless you all, Hugs with Love from across the miles.
