Christina Dixon Obituary

DIXON, CHRISTINA N., (MULLEN), 81, - of Millville, passed away, Friday morning, August 15, 2008 at her residence after a lengthy illness. Born and raised in Millville, she worked for the Millville Manufacturing Co. as a weaver. Mrs. Dixon then married and raised her family. She had been married for 61 years. She had also worked for the Millville Board of Education in the cafeteria at Bacon School. She enjoyed her family and babysitting in her home. She attended the Second United Methodist Church of Millville. Mrs. Dixon is survived by her husband of 61 years William F. Dixon III; one son William N. Dixon and wife Marietta of Millville; four daughters, Christina Dacy and husband Joseph of Millville, Diane Howgate and husband Bruce of Mauricetown, Cathy Dixon of Millville, and Linda Dixon of Rosenhayn; one sister Julia Felmey of Millville; eight grandchildren; and eight great-grandchildren. She was predeceased by one son Robert Dixon Sr., in 1995. Funeral services will be conducted at 11 a.m. on Monday, August 18, 2008 in the Christy Funeral Home, 11 W. Broad Street, Millville. Family and friends will be received from 9 to 11 a.m. prior to the service in the funeral home. Burial will be in Greenwood Memorial Park, Millville.
