Steve Kozak Obituary



KOZAK, STEVE JR., 70, - of Millville, died on Thursday at the SJ Healthcare Regional Medical Center. Born in West Virginia, Steve had lived in Millville since 1965. Steve retired from Foster Forbes Glass Plant as a Fork Lift Operator, prior to Foster Forbes, he had worked at Wheaton Industries for over 28 years in the shipping department. He was a member of the Millville Church of the Nazarene. Steve was an US Army veteran serving in Germany. He was an avid NASCAR fan, and Jeff Gordon was his favorite driver. He also enjoyed following Millville High School Thunderbolt Football Philadelphia Eagles and the West Virginia Mountaineers. He enjoyed going to flea markets, especially Cowtown. He is survived by two sons: Kevin J. and wife Nancy of Petersburg and Steven D. and wife Karen of Leesburg: three brothers: Paul Wayne and wife, Anna, and Tommy of W. Virginia and Joe and wife, Gaye of Kentucky: five sisters: Linda Richard and husband, Garry, Libby Tolley and husband Eddie, Angela Richards and husband Bob, and Beverly "Kay" Coleman and husband Gary all of W. Virginia and Judy Rider and husband Dallas of Alabama: three grandchildren: Kayla Kozak, Samantha Charlesworth and Rebecca Lambe, also several nieces and nephews. Steve was pre-deceased by his parents, Steve and Katie, nee Szasz, and his beloved wife, Peggy, who passed away two years ago today. Funeral services will be held on Tuesday, August 19th at 11AM in the Rocap Shannon Memorial Funeral Home, where friends will be received from 10 AM. Burial will follow in Greenwood Memorial Park. Memorial donations may be made to the Millville Church of the Nazarene, 100 S. 15th St., Millville, NJ 08332. Written condolences may be sent to: [email protected]
