I am truly sorry and my heart goes out to all of Cindy's unexpected leave from our world. I love music as much as Cindy did and I enjoyed doing duets with her, immensely so. She was professional which made it more exciting to sing with her. I also enjoyed performing for and with her in the two bell choirs. After her return from her vacation, I told Tekla of the sad news and she wants to extend her deepest sympathy to those close to Cindy. "Mom, Miss Cindy was my teacher and I looked up to her. She taught me musicality". Cindy was truly inspirational and hilarious! I never knew what would come next, which made the moments with Cindy delightful. I had only wish to have visited her to catch up on things. But that did not happen. My heart is heavy with that. My deepest prayers are with you all. And, I want to remark the noted courage that Megan, Jeffry and Steven had, who were able to push back those tears for just a moment for all to hear their memories of Cindy at the church! I know that it would have been a great strain for Matthew Sorge to go up to the front and extend his words. It was deep in his heart. His mother, Cindy, was always there for him, nurturing him and protecting him, tending to his needs. There is no doubt in my mind that his unspoken words are truly, the loudest. "Thank you, MOM for caring so much for me!" My prayers are for more strength to the Sorge Family to find peace in their hearts and the courage to go forward!!
