Leonard R. Marks

MARKS, LEONARD R., 67 - of Waterford, beloved husband of 14 yrs to Karen Karbach-Marks of Waterford. Devoted father of Nena Mawson and Ronald Marks both of Erial, David and Keirston Nickerson both at home and the late Tina Marks. Proud grandfather of C.J. Mawson and Jack Nye. Also survived by mother & lather-in-law Rosemary and Henry Karbach of Mays Landing, many brothers and sisters-in-law and numerous nieces and nephews. Len was born in Wildwood and grew up in Camden. He graduated from Camden Co. Voc. & Tech. School, Pennsauken. He was a former member of the Inter. Brotherhood of Boilermakers, Shipbuilders, Blacksmiths, Forgers & Helpers, Lodge 316, Local 329 Phila. For many years Len was a partner in Monarch Boiler of Blenheim. He started many businesses in the South Jersey area, most notable Knight Mechanical of Berlin. Len enjoyed boating & fishing at the Jersey Shore and in Florida, traveling with his wife and friends, and relaxing on their houseboat at Lighthouse Point Marina, Wildwood. Len was well liked and will be sadly missed by all who knew him. Relatives and friends are invited to attend his funeral service on Weds.11 a.m. at the Giosa Funeral Home, 171 Haddon Avenue, West Berlin, where his viewing will be held Tues. 6 to 9 p.m. and again Weds. 9 to 11 a.m. Cremation and interment will be private.
