Henry A. Taggart

TAGGART, HENRY A., 86 - of North Wildwood, passed away on Friday, August 15, 2008 at Cape Regional Medical Center. He was born and raised in Maple Shade to the late John E. and Elizabeth (Walker) Taggart. He loved living in Boynton Beach, FL for over 28 years before moving to North Wildwood in 2000 after the death of his wife of 54 years, Eleanor "Bunny" (Schwartz) Taggart. A former engineer for the Pennsylvania Railroad, he was a member and usher of Our Lady of the Angels Church. Mr. Taggart planted flowers at the Lodge grounds in North Wildwood. He enjoyed golfing in Florida, woodcarving, and building model boats, including the Titanic and Mayflower. Mr. Taggart is survived by his two daughters, Linda Neilen and her husband, Robert of Glassboro, and Cheryl Bulifant and her husband, Gregory of Cape May Court House; his brother, Paul Taggart of Mt. Laurel; his sister, Betty Nowakowski and her husband, Al of Maple Shade; his five grandchildren, Kelly, Janeen, Heather, Kimberly, and Brooke; and his two great grandchildren, Nicholas and Robby Allen. In addition to his wife, he was preceded in death by his son, Michael, and his great granddaughter, Brittany. Funeral mass will be said on Tuesday, August 19, 2008 at 11:00 a.m. at Our Lady of the Angels Church, Garden State Parkway and East Mechanic Street, Cape May Court House, where viewing will begin at 10:00 a.m. Entombment in Calvary Cemetery Mausoleum, Cherry Hill will be private.
