I was looking at this and my daughter is here and I mentioned Roger, she is 33 now and when I mentioned his name she said " he is the guy that sent home the Flintstones coloring books" I was amazed after all of these years she remembered. I'll never forget Roger and Bill Cusack from Lenox !!!

Ms. Queen, Candi, Roddie, CJ, Maurice, Scottie wow it is like losing my own father. Lost of a loved one is a hard pill to swallow but I know God only loaned them to us for a short while. I do know that what Melissa said was so true. He treated us girls like Gold. Although he only had one in his home the neighborhood girls were all his. The Everett family was truly what you call a family they never let the outside affect the inside. I truly respected this man and one thing for certain two for shore when he was mad you knew it. I could go on for hours telling some funny stories but the best story of all is being there and witnessing Mr. Roger give his daughters hand in marriage. He was so nerves but we got him down that aisle. Well Family keep you head held high because he has truly left a legacy to remember.

Maurice and Michelle,
My heartfelt prayers are sent to you both, as well as your family. You are so lucky to have had a father in your life. Mo, I remember the funny stories you used to tell me when we were younger. We used to crack up about you and your dad. Michelle I remember you saying at a gathering how you loved being a daddy's girl. You both made me smile, for it is a love that I have never known. Cherish the memories and I will keep you and your family in my prayers.

I know he would want you to continue sharing and showing the glow you have when you talk of being "Daddy's Little Girl". May God continue to watch over and bless you and your family.

My daughter and I will never forget Roger, When she was little he brought in some coloring books, she still remembers him for that, she would color a picture and ask me to bring it in to hang on the machine. What a great man to make a child feel that good !! I worked alongside Roger many years. He was always ready to help!! He was a GREAT man and surely will be missed by me. I often thought of Roger and hoped to run into him on one of my travels. We shared a love of fishing and told many stories between us and Sonny. It is such a shame that us old employees of Lenox only get together for funerals. We spent many hours together & we all had so much fun together. In all sincerity " I really miss the people, just not the place"!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! There is surely a special place for my good friend Roger !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
May God Bless His Family
