Rose Marchina Obituary

MARCHINA, ROSE REGINA 91, - of North Cape May, died on Wednesday at her home surrounded by her family. Born in Brooklyn, N.Y., she formerly lived in Phila., PA. before moving to the Cape May area in 1964. She was a graduate of Girls' Commercial High School in Brooklyn. She was a member of St. John of God R.C. Church. She was a homemaker for many years before becoming employed by Snow's Canning and Morrow's Nut House of Cape May. She enjoyed trips to Disneyworld, playing Bingo and the Atlantic City casinos. Beloved mother of two sons and four daughters, William and wife Ellen Broderick of Hobackin, N.C., and Joseph and wife Denise Marchina of N. Cape May; Peggy Jane Marchina and companion Carl of N. Cape May, Rosemary and husband Frank Sweeney, Elizabeth and husband Greg Geiger, all of Del Haven and Roberta and husband Charles Omrod of N. Cape May; 16 grandchildren, 28 great-grandchildren and six great-great grandchildren and a brother, Thomas Llarrington of Palm Coast, FL. She was preceded in death by her husband, William, a son, Michael, a brother, Jack and four sisters, Marge, Dot, Marion and Catherine. Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Saturday, 11 AM at St. Raymond's Church, Bayshore & Ocean Ave., Villas, where friends may call from 10-11 AM. Burial will be in Cape May Co. Veterans Cem.
